Great prequel!!

Great start to an interesting series! I’ve seen the series around and have been wanting to check it out. I’m glad I finally have!

The narration was EXCELLENT!!!

Great prequel!

I’ve read the short story (the entire series actually!!) and it was great to hear “Kat” speak. Being from America, I couldn’t really read the book with an accent. This story is a great beginning to the Katverse. If you like undead and necromancers (and all sorts of magical creatures later on), give this a listen! I hope the rest of the series come out in audiobooks as well!

I loved this look at Kat's past!

I absolutely love the Kat Drummond Series and thus glimpse into the Katverse. It was fun to see hiw Kat found Akex and met Brett. The narrator was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the story! I only wish it was longer 😆. I highly recommend this book if you love the series and if you haven't tries it yet this is a great story to get you started.
