A journey through a unique mind

Received as an audio review copy from the author this is an honest review. Narrated wonderfully by Julian Pearson, continues this epic sequel to Assassin Hunter is a beautiful, labyrinthine journey for Darkmind, as we witness not only his poignant experiences that shaped him but also how he sees his current situation along Vaya Sage. This story may be short with its chapters but then Drew Britney continues his amazing ability to pack his books with deep emotional journeys with philosophical wit. Highly recommended.

Intriguing

Interesting premise … Vaya Sage has fled with Ji Anna. He needs to have a brain scan, so he can sort out what is real, and what memories were implanted in him. Unbeknownst to him, Darkmind has inhabited Ji Anna. Vaya Sage comes to suspect that. A game of wits ensues, with each trying to decide whether or not to kill each other. We learn a lot about Datkmind, as he reviews memories from past lives. There is a great cliffhanger at the end. I’m looking forward to the next book. Great narration. I received a free copy of this book, with no obligation.

Great mix of scifi and fantasy.

I got this in a giveaway from the author and I'm glad I did. It's a thrilling story with a great mix of psionics and AI, I listened to it out of order but need to get book one in order to listen to that one. Once I started listening I couldn't put it down, deliberately went for a walk just to have more time to listen and finish the story.

Intriguing

Absolutely loved this paranormal story. Kept me totally intrigued with all that was happening. The Narrator made it more enjoyable.

Amazing

I loved book 1, and I thoroughly enjoyed book 2 as well. The narrator is amazing.
