Arthur Walkington Pink (1886-1952) was an English Bible teacher who sparked a renewed interest in the exposition of Reformed theology. In Sovereignty of God (1918) Pink attempts to explain the sovereignty of God versus the responsibility of man. It opens with a chapter that defines God's sovereignty, followed by various a series of chapters identifying the spheres in which it operates (like creation, salvation, reprobation, and more). Chapter seven deals with the sovereignty of God and the human will, while the next explains human responsibility in view of God's sovereignty. The work also examines prayer in relation to divine sovereignty.
