Speaking God’s Word Over: Your Health & Healing

God has given us great power in our words. He himself created the universe with words. Way back in the beginning of time, when the whole world was dark (Genesis 1:2), nothing happened until He set a change in motion by saying, “Let there be light” (or “Light, be”). And it worked -- there was light (Genesis 1:3). In the midst of darkness, He called for something that didn’t exist yet – and it happened. Notice that nothing happened until words were spoken. Read the verses out loud, and then speak out the declarations. Stop speaking words of doubt and unbelief that work against you and your physical health – words that describe what you are seeing now. Remember that we are using biblical principles to change to situation we see now. Your current situation is subject to change! (2 Corinthians 4:18). Use these declarations as often as necessary, even several times a day, or especially when the pressure is on. By doing that you’re setting a change in motion – you’re releasing your faith by framing your future world with words -- and before long, you will see that God’s Word works!
