Mitch Tobin, a modern-day cowboy banker is threatened by a drug ring in the little town of Spearfish, South Dakota. A close friend is murdered and Mitch, his family and his girlfriend may be in danger so the drugs can keep flowing. The action moves from the fall buffalo round up in Custer State Park, through a cowboy night out, a Lady Godiva twin at a funeral, a dog that is not man’s best friend, a son dating the wrong girl, some undercover work and a shootout. Through it all Mitch deals with his bank's customers, management and ownership; handling it all in his own sometimes unorthodox way. With all of this going on, Mitch is trying to decide on a career change and his true feelings for his girlfriend, Judy. It is small town living in the west with some decidedly not so friendly characters.
