Get ready for witches, wolves, magic, and romance - all in Salem!

Raven Bishop doesn't need the help of a man, no matter how hot he is. So when an alluring stranger walks into her magic supply shop, Gemstones, Raven ignores his advice. He might be a police officer, but she knows she can take care of herself.

Sheriff and wolf shifter Zane Cross has one mission: get the Bishop women away from the order of witch hunters. He doesn't have time to deal with his inner wolf howling that they've finally met their mate, especially since the woman in question refuses to follow him to safety. Until she's attacked.

In a secluded cabin, far away from the threat of death, the grumpy sheriff and headstrong witch will have to find common ground in order to survive. Can Raven put her pride aside and let love save the day?

Good story concept, narration was awesome. Just didn't like the female character. she was whiney and unlikable. I felt bad for the male character, she wasn't independent, just very immature and did things that made no sense. Milly Taiden is one of my favorite authors, usually love her female leads, they make me laugh and usually can see lots of growth from beginning to end. This time I was annoyed with the female and questioned why the male lead would put up with her. I was kinda hoping she would get shot, so she could learn and grow up.

It was ok. I don’t think I will ever listen to it again. The h was very immature and stubborn. The H was better but this story is definitely lacking.

I enjoyed this story, but of course it isn't finished yet. the problem with this story is that I am not crazy about weak witches with power issues. why is she being so stupid when she doesn't even know how to use her powers?

I liked the story except the heroine’s attitude. It was kind of ridiculous. If the sherif showed up and told me I was a target, I wouldn’t argue or tell him how to do his job. She was so immature and entitled. If I were Zane I would have knocked her out.

Narration was good and I enjoyed it once Raven calmed down.
