When Mikey LoPinto is bitten by a werewolf and infected with the werewolf virus, Riko Light and Mikey set out to find a cure. They meet a strange boy named Oz who leads them on a journey threatened by cannibals, witches, demons, and zombies.

Oz and Riko find themselves falling in love while the clock runs out on finding a cure for Mikey, and Oz fights off the deadly spell cast by his mother's Satanic Bible.

dystopian fantasy with magic

it was an interesting plot. narrator did a good job animating the tones of the characters. Would listen to additional tales to follow up and build in this works

Great young adult story

Spellcast Water by Janet Post is a wonderful post- apocalyptic fantasy. Kay Webster did an excellent job with the narration. In this post- apocalyptic world with water covering most of it, things are crazy. There are zombies, werewolves, wizards, witches, demons and other creatures. Magic rulers all. The story is entertaining, interesting, thrilling fun, and more. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend

Very YA Fantasy

Mikey and Riko, along with their new friend Oz, live in a dystopian world full of magic, witches, ghosts, werewolves, zombies, trolls, and whatever. This is a very YA story with chaotic fantasy themes, all in a jumble.
