Adorable, fun romance.

This was such a cute story! I have been enjoying this contemporary spy series by Meg Easton and this book was right on par. I loved seeing Charlie’s perspective as a handler and how she had to rise to the challenge before her in this story. Owen was so adorable and I loved having the dual POV to see both his and Charlie’s perspectives.

The romance was fun with close proximity and a new twist on that trope. I liked the way the author connected Charlie and Owen’s careers in the plot. It had a good balance of romance, intrigue with the spy stuff, and fun dynamics with the secondary cast. I also liked both narrators and thought they were easy to listen to and represented their characters well.
