Ups and Downs

Like most anthologies, there is some good and some bad. It was sufficient. Nothing was stellar, and one story just bored me to tears.

Josh Malerman never disappoints. The last story in this collection had a hard time keeping my attention but the rest was 5stars for sure

A good collection of tales. Egorov is probably my favorite... it's as if Poe wrote A Christmas Carol instead of Dickens.

Not an attention getter.. boring!

No mail biter .. just boring. Even the narraiting is bad. Dont waste your time. Thank you!

So very, very boring.

What an awful story! I am two hours in and I returned it. This story is neither scary or interesting. Just about two siblings and the older one emotionally tortures the younger one. Also, there is nothing worse then when a adult tries to sound like a child. So the narration was bad too. I thought I might listen to it on a higher speed but when I realized I had ten hours to go, I just couldn't continue. Maybe it is not fair to write a review on a story I did not even halfway through but there is really nothing here to recommend it.
