We need to stand firm in life even if we are cajoled or bullied by loud and bombastic people or organizations that want you to do what they want for their purposes.

Never ever be frightened to complain; do it in style as high as you can go and copy others in the correspondence so that everyone knows.

Never ever be blackmailed by family, friends, or those who use "emotional blackmail" in trying to get their way above yours.

We know only too well those who say "If you don't do this or that you'll be letting everyone down", well if you broke your leg and couldn't do it do you think all would be cancelled - NO it wouldn't.

So take heed about such stupid and decisive statements and the selfish insensitivity of those who make them.
