After listening to this I have a much clearer understanding of what it takes to monetize a blog. It was very informative on affiliate marketing which may be a starting point for myself. I have friends that have recently had some luck monetizing blogs so I've personally become interested and did not feel confident with what I was finding to get started until this. I'll likely go back to the parts that discuss how to continue forward when I start seeing some success.
