She didn’t cause a scandal. She chose divorce and a new beginning.
With no money.
No support.
With a broken heart and constant calls from an ex who didn’t know how to let go.
Tyler had always been there—silent, invisible, hiding his feelings for years. He was the one who met Betty first… but had to watch her marry his best friend. And when the ground crumbles beneath her feet, he becomes the one she leans on.
One accidental night changes everything.
And now Betty knows for sure: happiness is possible even after divorce.
This is a story about how sometimes the truest happiness is born exactly where there was once only the shadow of another’s betrayal.
Tropes: Strong FMC • Protective Hero • Divorce After Betrayal • A Second Chance at Happiness • Healing Through New Love • Divorce Romance

I found myself wanting more growth from Betty earlier in the story. While her vulnerability is clear, by chapter twelve I was still waiting for the moment where she begins to stand up for herself, which made the character arc feel slower than I expected for this genre.
Frustratingly slow character arc
