Some great tips in this book!

First of all, the narration is smooth and easy to listen to. The book is a great introduction for small business owners. There is a good discussion of historical statistics and cautionary tales. Topics discussed include market research and strategies, which I found incredibly helpful, as well as financial planning, the impact of economic downturns and crisis in the market. All of this I think puts the reader in the right mindset to think about the risk of owning your own business. I thought the layout of the book, starting with a business plan, moving through setting up an LLC, financing your business, several operations related topics, accounting and taxes, and growing the business worked was great. Overall, I highly recommend this book for beginners.
