In the gray new world...crossing the country is a gauntlet of death.

Can they survive the journey?

Cory’s family was his first concern. He had to get home, but Indiana was more than 2,000 miles away, and he had only one question: What dangers lie ahead?

The warmth of the sun faded.

When the temperature dropped, panic set swept the world. Fears of doom terrified the masses. Gangs roamed the streets. The girl he had helped had proved to be a valuable travel companion. Cory has no idea what Anna isn’t telling him.

Will her past help them or be their downfall?

Someone was on their trail.

You’ll love this second book in the Brink of Extension series, because we find out the changing weather may be more dangerous than Cory and Anna know.

Stay Alive is a gripping post-apocalyptic thriller featuring flawed, complex characters and riveting action. A disaster/survival series perfect for fans of Ryan Schow, Grace Hamilton, Harley Tate, Jack Hunt, Boyd Craven, and Kyla Stone.

Wow, this series seems to be taking off into a landscape of horror! It’s as though at every turn, Cory is having to clean up another mess in order to move forward. I love the non-stop action and and the fact that the story, while we can see Scarface’s next move, is unpredictable. It keeps me listening late into the night (yeah, thanks Derek, I’m on two hours of sleep) waiting to hear what will happen next. I also find it interesting that while the book is about a SHTF event(s), it’s not even discussed as something that will change their futures. I just take it to mean, stop analyzing Kelly, and enjoy the story.

Action packed and unpredictable
