A great way to continue the story looking forward to the next in the series whenever that may be.

Fun, Interesting Series

I've truly enjoyed this series. it's funny and the plots are interesting. I like hearing about the protaganist's journey and the other characters are very interesting. I'm a little tired of hearing about her boobs though! I think the author could let that subject matter go, we got it.

Character

Good series - however I’m not happy with the Hurley - Mattie relationship progression! Nor the direction of Mattie’s character - wimpy Whiney “me” shit - grow a pair girl!

I really enjoyed this series

This series has wonderful characters that you really invest in and root for. Maddie is so hilarious and relatable. Her mom is a hysterical weirdo. Her boss is someone you want to meet and have adopt you. The reoccurring police department characters are lovable and enduring. Hell even the dog and cats are a treat. So you cannot go wrong on selecting this series on just those rid-bits alone.

Yet it is the murder investigation and the undercurrent story that sucks you in. You want to find out who is the murderer, but you also want to know how Maddie handles her personal life. In this book we have a new character that is coming into play and I am excited to see how this character will either upend Maddie’s status quo or enhance it.

I recommend the series.
