Marco is my damaged addiction.

My family warned me about him, saying I should stay away. That he’s nothing but trouble.

Everyone tried to intervene. But this was all the more reason for us to keep fighting for our love.

Maybe I should have listened, but we’re in too deep now.

Marco was my high school sweetheart.

He gave me a feeling of love that I had never known before. He had gone out of his way to stay in my life, to show me he wants to be here forever.

I lost my v-card to him; we had a baby in our teens, and we married young. But it has been an endless roller coaster of emotions.

I’ll never forget how he became my best friend and lover. But also the many times he shattered my heart with his lies, and tequila-fueled adventures.

He says he’s changed. How he’s different now. Swears he can be my forever protector, inviting me back into his strong arms.

The-hot-and-cold feels all too familiar.

There’s no denying his warm embrace feels like home.

A side of me says to let go.

Another side says not to give up.

This is the toughest decision of my life.

great book

Good book to listen to. Young love, romance, life happens along the way. loved it.

So Sad

It was nice to hear about Linda and Marco growing up together. I liked Linda and Marco but Linda's dad needed his a*s kicked. They have been thru so much, it's so sad. Linda is a saint for staying with Marco for so long. The ending was so forlorn.

Writing was fine. Characters were great. I would love this story if it weren't for the language and the bedroom scenes. Just not for me. The recording of the narration sounded a little unprofessional, but the narrator herself was fine.
