When Ann-Marie Martin reluctantly returns to her hometown of Brookville, New Hampshire, to help care for her ailing father and manage her grandmother Mary’s beloved quilt shop, she quickly discovers that the quaint Quilt Patch holds more than memories—it holds secrets. Mary was more than just a talented quilter; she was a quiet keeper of Brookville’s hidden history, weaving untold stories and family legacies into her creations.

As Ann-Marie immerses herself in the shop, she uncovers fragments of her grandmother’s past that hint at sacrifices made and dreams set aside. With the help of her loyal friend Claire, her supportive mother Sarah, and a growing bond with Daniel, a man who understands her journey, Ann-Marie begins to see her family’s legacy from a new perspective. Each day at the Quilt Patch deepens her connection to her grandmother, challenging Ann-Marie to honor her heritage while finding her path forward.

Stitches of Memories is a heartfelt exploration of family, love, and the threads that bind us across generations. Filled with warmth, resilience, and the quiet power of community, this story invites listeners into a world where quilts hold stories and where one woman’s journey to piece together her past helps her create a future of her own.

Kayla has a transcendent voice that made this story totally worth reading, highly recommend. Not kidding, I listen to this audio book to go to sleep every night now, and I no longer have tinnitus or sleep apnea. I have more energy, I feel like my mind is finally clear and I’m able to focus at work!

The story itself appears to have been written by a bot, so the book is more of a study of where we are with AI than anything else. But who cares about plots and content when the narrator is this good. Five stars, would give six if I could.
