I got bored with this story after the first 3 book collection, but I was intrigued enough to see what happened in the second trilogy set. It was just so drawn out that I continued to be somewhat bored. I kept taking breaks as it didn’t keep me on the edge of my seat. That’s just my personal opinion though.
