This book is a collection of short stories that describe some of the unique incidents and experiences from my life. These are stories that have stuck in my mind for years. They are unforgettable. There have been funny incidents, near death experiences, moments of inspiration and periods of deep introspection.

I also included a section with stories that explore racism and prejudice. I feel that this section of the book is very important.

When I get together with a group of friends, we usually begin by talking about how our families is doing. Another subject may be the recent vacations that we have taken or a new restaurant that we tried out. This is pretty standard stuff.

What really provides stimulus to the conversation are the stories about unique incidents we have experienced. That is what this book is about. Each story is also written to stand by itself. The reader can read the whole book in one sitting, or in several shorter sittings. The reader can also pick and choose which sections they want to read first. Maybe it’s the funny stories? Or the more serious section on racism and prejudice. The stories are all true. I only changed some of the names and relationships as a courtesy to the people involved. This does not change the impact of the stories. I hope you enjoy the book. Barwell Hollings
