Another Triumph for Inman

Shawn Inman never disappoints, with his imaginative well written prose. He does an amazing job painting his story canvas with well chosen words. I love the diversity and concrete definition of his characters.
And I love, love, love his narrator, Jonathon McClain! He brings the characters to life with his genuineness, warmth and intuition. They make a wonderful team!

Enjoyed the story

Enjoyed the audiobook. Narrator was a little strange at times! But I enjoyed being able to listen to the story.

R.o.u.s’s? So far from Guilder?!

Shawn Inmon is my favorite writer, there I said it. Hands down, time after time, he writes an incredibly gripping story that has me laughing, crying, gasping, and sitting on the edge of my seat. I’ve never been one for adventure stories but he somehow manages to pull me in with witty and entertaining characters, with fast moving plot points, with an engaging sense of familiarity as though I’ve been placed into the stories myself, Stranded is no exception to this rule. It’s fast paced and constantly making you anxious to find out what happens next. I can’t wait until Marooned comes to audible, especially looking forward to another Johnathan McClain performance.

Logical fantasy

Shawn Inmon is an incredible author, one of the things I loved most about this book was that although it is a fantasy it still only allows characters to do stuff that is with in their limits. So while the idea of a magical portal in made up everything that happens inside is fairly logical.
I also loved all the characters (with the exception of one)
