Stranded: The Long Journey Home tells the story of a father and son traveling around the United States of America to explore its beauty and celebrate young Nic's coming of age. Political unrest interrupts their vacation as armed conflicts erupt in Iran and Syria and eventually a terrorist attack hits US soil. The catastrophic attack is devastating, wiping out electricity and infrastructure nationwide. Father and son are in Yellowstone Park for the aftermath of the attack and must then walk to Texas, to Paul Sanchez's home, in hopes of finding it still standing.

I really enjoyed this novel! I’m about to buy the second and read it as well! I really like Paul and how he helps people. He’s really a great man and will do all he can to help make our country great again! With that being said, I know Paul has all the qualities of Dino, a great Retired Army Captain! Keep writing Dino and I’ll keep reading them!
