The earth is running a fever to destroy the infection, aka us. The outside world is hot and dangerous, the inside is dark and littered with decomposition, and marauders are always near.
As the group’s survival skills improve others want what they have and battle lines harden inside a high-rise building as others wish to gain what they have.
Different floors are claimed territory, and trade and land grabs are happening throughout the building.
People who like action in their science fiction, warm sheets in the bedroom, futuristic survival techniques, and a few snide comments about social intercourse and our place in the universe may enjoy this suspenseful, sometimes playful, other times thrilling, survival novel.

Superb, unique apocalyptic novel…
This is a superbly crafted science fiction story with plenty of action, humor, and thrilling scenes. I could see this being made into a futuristic, sci-fi thriller of a movie.
