Six-year-old Olivia Hathaway tiptoes down the center aisle of Maybelle's Market, stopping once to glance over her shoulder and make sure her mother isn't watching. But Mrs. Hathaway is too preoccupied to notice her daughter has slipped away. Minutes later, a frantic Mrs. Hathaway runs up and down the aisles, desperately searching for her missing daughter. But Olivia is already gone. Will PI Sloane Monroe find her before it's too late?

The story itself wasn't bad, but fairly predictable. Still it would probably make a decent read. However the narration was horrible! I almost had to ditch the book on audible and pick up the kindle version. The narrator was very choppy when talking, and she did not do different voices well at all. One of the main male characters sounded like he was gay, only to realize he was interested in one of the female characters. It was so bad it was hard to follow. I would not recommend the audible version of this book.

Horrible narration, but okay story

Enjoyable mystery with a fair amount of suspense. It goes quickly and hard to put down.

I quickly became annoyed by the frequent I said, he said. Fully half of these should have been I asked or he asked. The narrators male voices were the worst I have listened to .

Story held my interest but.....
