This book was ridiculously sweet. Connor is a sassy pole dancer and Patrick is a quiet baker and they have been friends for awhile. I LOVE the fake boyfriend trope and it's better when it's between besties!
I love that Connor is a pole dancer and embraces who he is and Patrick fully supports him. I appreciated that Connor didn't make Patrick feel bad about his inexperience nor did he fetishize it.
This book is super low angst and the MCs communicate in a realistic manner, not the best, but not dramatic. I smiled throughout the whole book! My only tiny complaint is that it's not as steamy as books I typically like, but the scenes that do happen are 🔥, and that's personal preference anyways.
Definitely looking forward to listening to Aaron and Josh's book when it becomes available on audio!
The narrator was new to me and it is the first narrator I've ever had to slow my speed down from 2x to 1.75x! I didn't dislike him and wouldn't avoid books he narrates in the future.

I enjoyed this story. Both main characters were adorbs. I loved the big family.

I loved this book!! Patrick and Connor are so sweet together! I love how their differences mesh well together and make them more understanding of each other as well!

I don't usually like the fake relationship setup but their storyline had me over that hang up really fast!

The audio was good! The narrator did a good job of bringing the characters to life!

Dan Calley did such a great job bringing Pads & Conner to life! I loved this book when I read it and the audio was an absolute treat. This book is sweet, steamy, and really funny. Loved it!

Sweet romance

Loved this book as soon as I read it and was thrilled when the audio version came out! Dan Caley is perfect for the narration and brings Connor and Patrick to life. Highly recommend this and all other Charlie Novak books. Loads of charming men finding their partners.
