This was the single most intense and all consuming second chance romance read ever!!!!

An unputdownable read that you will just hate when it's over, but will definitely not feel unfulfilled.

The emotions were so consuming that you will feel them as if they were your own.

Decent book, but not a great book!

This book definitely has its ups and downs. First, the timeline is totally confusing, in the first third of the book. It starts out in the future, flashes to the past, then present and then past again. The trouble is that the author doesn’t make these time jumps clear to the listener. I finally figured what was what, towards the end of the book when the future scene, at the beginning of the book, repeats.
This book is also pretty predictable and has the type of angst that I totally hate. ( when the lack of simple verbal communication could avoid most of the conflict.
Overall, I was fairly entertained, however, I’m glad I didn’t have to use my monthly credit, to listened it, though. I was able

it almost brought me to my knees. it has a Cake ( the book) feel to it.

Super Angsty!

Like the title, that's what this story does to you. Its strips you bare and about tears your heart out from beginning to end. I thought the first book in this duet did me in but the second book tops that for sure. So much pain, heartbreak, and inner struggle. These two are battling their emotions because of the way they have lived their lives. The sacrifices that have been made and the challenges they have endured. Its truly almost too much. It's written in a way that makes you grasp every emotion. And it has phenomenal steam between these two. I mean really panty melting stuff here. Amazing narration! Just listen because you won't regret a second of it!
