It took me several tries to get through the story. The narrator does a poor job of changing his voice for the different characters. He also changed the accents of a few of the well-know characters like Elaine, Stone's very Greek housekeeper/cook. She now has a "proper" British accent. Totally threw me off the story. After finally getting through the story, it follows the "tone" the stories started taking since Brett Battles has been involved. Brett is definitely putting his own stamp on the series. A few more books will tell me if I will stay a fan of the "new" Stone Barrington series. However, if the narrator stays the same I will not be buying them as audiobooks.

Story pretty good. Narrator is lacking.

As a raving fan of Stuart Woods, I was more than pleased to be able to continue listening to my favourite characters.

My only suggestion is to have Tony Roberts continue doing the narration in the future.

Really enjoyed it!

The narrator is NOT Tony Roberts. It was hard to determine the characters by the voice. This book seems to focus on much more than Stone's adventures. I was not impressed.

Not the Usual Stone Barrington Book

I didn’t like the narrator he was just not right for the story. The original narrator was the best in my opinion

Typical Stone Barrington story that was entertaining. It seemed like a new narrator was employed and he was annoying at best. Especially bad were the women and the English accents. Stone’s girlfriend sounded like she was 80 or more. If this was a new narrator, I’d suggest he be replaced asap.

New Narrator?
