conveniently and serendipitously arranged

Alessandra finds a way out of an arranged marriage by arranging a marriage deal with Colton, a billionaire heir. At first each one was just the answer to their own problems but their business relationship blossomed into care and then love. It seems a short but the story didn't feel rushed. I loved that the author slowly gave details of Alessandra's life as well as her triumph after all the sacrifices. Love to see a quick-witted heroine. Her HEA came from one of the bad guys on campus.

This is a nice and entertaining love story.

Alessandra and Colton

Alessandra's father has always been harsh but when he says she is marrying his abusive partner something has to change. Colton has to get married within the week or he will lose out on his inheritance. The pair elope to solve both their problems.

Both of them have had different upbringings, Alessandra submitting to him in all things upsets him. He sets about changing the status quo she is used to. The narrator was good pick for this story, as the pair is young.

Suddenly Wed

Suddenly Wed by Suzana Thompson is a good, and enjoyable marriage of convenience romance read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line. The characters are great, likable, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining sweet spicy romance read. The narrator to the book has done a great and brilliant job of bring the story alive that makes for an easy listen. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

An easy to listen to romance!

At 18, Alessandra may never have been in love, but she knows when she marries, she wants it to be for love. Her father has arranged a suitor that will be good for business, and she is totally disgusted with the choice. Colton is under the thumb of his father, and the only way out is to get married and gain access to his grandfather's trust. He sees a way out for both Alessandra and himself. But they are so young! Will they find this arrangement beneficial? Do they have feelings for each other that will grow? This is a fun, easy listen and I enjoyed it. Alessandra is extremely naive, and she now has the time to learn and grow away from her parents. Colton is good for her. Extremely driven, ambitious and patient, he helps her to grow into the woman she is. It's a blast to see them both mature, and find the happiness they deserve.

Pippa Jayne is always a pleasure to listen to and this is no exception. She creates these two young adults, giving them the naivete of those inexperienced. But she gives them just enough independence with her voice to let us know they are mature enough to do this and learn about life together. She uses her nuances to make it easy for us to feel their pain, their growing and love. It's a great listen!
