𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐧 is the absolutely irresistible spin-off of the 𝘐𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘋𝘶𝘦𝘵 by Melanie Moreland, and it was everything I didn’t know I needed and more!! Sullivan Black was the epitome of the yummy Irish morally gray hero that any woman would love to be trapped with in a remote Scottish cottage during a snowstorm! I know I would volunteer as tribute!😍😅 But man, when he saw Autumn, that insta-spark was on warp-speed!! It didn’t matter that she was scared a few minutes ago, he sent her into sensory overload, too! That’s what I love about fiction… I just suspend reality and enjoy the ride, and what a ride this was! He brought his alpha protective vibes, they had passion, engaging dialogue, just such a surprising connection. And yes, she’s Canadian, so we had a window to re-introduce his cousins Finn and Niall, as well as their fabulous wives!! So when the danger, drama, and suspense hit, the family pulled together in the most riveting ways, while keeping the banter going! If you enjoy audiobooks, I would happily shout from the rooftops to urge people to try the audio version of this book, narrated by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙡𝙮. Melanie Moreland uses them often, but I’m telling you, when it comes to slipping in and out of a lyrical accent, there is no one better than John Lane!! You can even tell the difference between Finn, Niall, and Sully, based on how much Canadian he adds in!! Maxine is fabulous at it as well! They are one of my favorite pairings to listen to!! They embodied it all… the emotions, the suspense, the passion, and the banter! I didn’t want it to end!! Bravo!!

5 A Life Changing Moment Stars!!

Imagine being in a snowy cottage in a little village in Scotland thinking you’re going to get some much needed away time when all of a sudden the front door swings open letting in all the snow and cold along with a tall, dark and handsome stranger. This is how this amazing book by Ms. Moreland starts and I loved every single piece of this book!

Sully and Autumn come from two very different worlds and that’s putting it mildly. Autumn is in Edinburg on a work trip and needed a weekend to just relax so her friend sends her to what she thinks will be an unoccupied cottage in a little village. But Sully has the same plans and when these two meet, while it’s a little awkward to begin with, by the end of the weekend everything has changed and for all the right reasons.

Sully is a man that gets what he wants and he never in his life expected love or to be so attracted to a woman that by the end of their couple of days together, he wants Autumn to be his forever. Their chemistry is enough to melt the massive amount of snow that fell while they were keeping each other warm inside. Autumn doesn’t know what to think, but she knows that Sully could be her forever. There’re just a few obstacles in their way, specifically Autumn lives in Toronto and Sully in Edinburg. One thing is for sure, Sully will do whatever it takes to get Autumn to make Edinburg her home too.

Along the way to their all-consuming love and passion for each other, there’s two worlds that collide, a man from Autumn’s past that just doesn’t want to let go, a family emergency and reconciling what everything means to get to their HEA.

John Lane and Maxine Mitchell brought every line and scene to life so magnificently. I was captivated from beginning to end. Their accents were spot on. I could feel the love, passion, fear and friendship coming through loud and clear. The listening experience expanded my love for this book. I also loved getting to be back in the Irishmen world. We met the inhabitants of this world in Niall and Finn’s books.

My heart is so happy right now having listened to another amazing book by Ms. Moreland. I’m definitely going to be listening to this book again.

Great characters

Sullivan and Autumn end up in the same cabin by accident, and they form a lovely connection. He is absolutely gone over her, but Autumn has concerns about how this relationship will work. She is only in Scotland for a few weeks, and she has a dear aunt in Canada that she doesn't want to leave. She also left a problem back in Canada that she is hoping will just disappear. We know that Sully will take care of her, but she thinks he is a regular lawyer. They have a lot to discover about each other.
The narration of this audiobook is fantastic as always. It is so much fun to hear these narrators bring new characters to life.

Morally grey hero is THE best!!

I loved this book!! Sully was the cousin that Niall and Finn. He is a lawyer by trade but helps his cousin in other ways as well. His assistant forces him to take a weekend off and that is where his life will change.
Autumn just wants to see Scotland while she is on a work assignment. Her best friend knows of a cabin on the sea that’s vacant for the weekend.
I loved how these two were “thrown“ together. Neither knows the other is coming. Add some snow. Okay, a lot of snow, a failed generator and only one bed… you see where this is going.
I loved this book. Sully falls hard and fast for Autumn. He would do anything and everything to keep her with him. The fact that she is Canadian and has an aunt she cares for could be a huge obstacle in their relationship. I don’t want to give too much away but there is more to test their relationship and I loved every minute of it.
