Joanna has seen some remarkable things deep in the woods in her role as the chief ranger of a popular national park. However, she never expected to witness a camper receiving a paddling high up on the mountain. When she realizes that she is not disturbed by the poor girl's pleas for the spanking to stop, she wonders if the past she has put behind her is truly history.

Before she can fade back into the forest, the man calls out for her to show herself. It was a voice she couldn't ignore. Stepping into the clearing took every ounce of her courage. As the man tries to figure out why the ranger seems familiar, Joanna greets him by name. She not only knows this man; she had once been over his lap and under his paddle herself.

Can the two work out what happened to tear them apart all those years ago? Can they not only forgive each other; will they be able to offer the solace they both desperately need?

I found this story very engaging and well told. But the narrator's attempts at female voices is incredibly bad, poor guy. Aside from that, he did very well.
And nobody tells a better spanking tale than Maggie Ryan.

Sweet story, well told- terrible narration

Any additional comments?

Let me just start with saying I absolutely love Maggie Ryan, but I am sorry I couldn't make it through this audio and it wasn't because of the writing, the narrator was horrible - why they would use him for this type of book is beyond me. He did not even come close on the female voices and he just started to get on my nerves to where I wasn't even paying attention to what he was saying. Sorry, I don't like to write negative reviews, but do appreciate it when I read honest reviews and it saves me from getting stuck with something that is a waste of my time and money. If this story is ever re-done with a different narrator, I would buy it.

Terrible Narrator!!
