Funny, endearing, visually interesting

The characters are interesting. The story is visually interesting. Both are humorous and a little sad. Easy to lose yourself in the story. Performance is one of the better ones I have heard. Makes it easy to relate to the characters. I would recommend both of the Lavender Bay books & have pre-ordered the 3rd...can’t wait till it comes out.

Lavender Bay is a place I would love to visit!

Great story cannot wait to listen to the next book in this series! This story is so good. I could not stop listening and enjoyed every minute of it.

Wonderful Story

loved the story - keep me fully involved thru the book. Sarah Bennett is a wonderful author.

A particularly admirable character

Similar to its predecessor, this book is slightly predictable. However, it’s a sweet and low-stress story, which is my go-to when the rest of the world is high stress. In particular, though, I appreciate Jack. Not only has he stepped up to become parent to his nephew, but he has also gone all-in to make him his top priority. By explaining to Eliza openly and clearly that Noah will alway be his top priority, no matter what, he sets the expectations for any possible relationship up front. He gives her the choice to take him or leave him, as he is - a package deal. That’s an admirable example in this book for anyone with children, entering a new relationship. Bravo :)
