Amelia Rosewood is a driven corporate professional from Chicago. She is more at home in a high-rise than in a small town. When her best friend Samantha convinces her to spend the summer in the charming village of Willow Creek, Amelia reluctantly agrees. She hopes to take a break from her high-stakes career.

As soon as Amelia steps off the train, she's captivated by the slow-paced beauty of Willow Creek. The town’s warmth surprises her. But it’s Nate Hawkins, the kind-hearted baker with a passion for life, who catches her attention. Nate is prepping for the town's annual baking contest, and Amelia finds herself offering to help. Nate encourages Amelia to rediscover her long-lost love for yoga. He inspires her to reconsider the joy she had once sacrificed for success.

Their blossoming connection is undeniable. Soon Amelia struggles with the looming reality of returning to her busy life in Chicago where a promotion awaits her. As the baking contest approaches, Amelia faces a decision that will shape her future. Either to continue the fast-paced city life she's always known, or embrace the simple joys that Willow Creek has to offer.

With tensions rising and emotions flaring, the contest’s climax brings everything to a head. Nate wins the competition, but more importantly, he bares his heart to Amelia.

Torn between career ambitions and a newfound sense of home, Amelia must decide what truly matters to her.

Delightful!

This is a very sweet story of Amelia Rosewood and Nate Hawkins and how they came together one summer to teach each other what's really important in life. Leaving Chicago, to go on vacation, was a little unsettling for Amelia since her real life gave her a clear schedule and the days she planned around it, but Willow Creek was a question mark with its wide open possibilities and surprises. It didn't offer anything like the security she was used to, but it certainly was clean and relaxing. Needing a break from the corporate world, fresh air might do her some good. Nate Hawkins is a content young man who knows how the little things work to bring joy and it's in his bakery that he feels that certain satisfaction that comes from creating something from nothing. Together, they have a  sweet and sexy story that ends very happily.
Arcelis Gotay did a wonderful job with the narration. With her dynamic voice and perfect pacing she gave each of the characters a life of their own.

Quick and Sweet

This was a quick and Sweet Novela about a city girl who takes a vacation in the country, joins the local baker in the town baking contest, and discovers what is really important in life. the story was a clean romance with a HEA. The narrator did a great job narrating a strong yet vulnerablecharacter that has a big decision for her future..

Sweet Falling in Love short Story

This is a really great short story about Amelia who goes on vacation to visit her friend, Samantha who lives in a small town in called Willow Creek to unwind from her hectic life in Chicago. She becomes involved in the activities of the town and was drawn to a small bakery when she arrived due to the sweet smells that emitted from it. After meeting the baker, Nate she begins to visit the bakery frequently. As the time for her to return to Chicago nears, she starts having second thoughts about leaving and returning to her old life as Nate and her draw close.
