Enjoyable and lighthearted

Loved the story and the narrator. Reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was too much repetition of Helen's misgivings.
Loved how she dealt with her X.

Happiness Found

Everything about this book was perfect, the characters are so real and relatable; the story engaging and entertaining. The performances were spot on; a typical Maddie Please, totally enjoyable.

Good story with a happy ending

The only thing I didn’t like was the book description. The part about her joining the silver surfers is completely wrong.

Loving these stories

I really appreciate a story about people a little later in life, finding their feet, and standing up for what they deserve out of life. It gives me hope that maybe the game isn’t over. This story is funny and touching and frustrating and adorable. The narrator is the BEST. I can’t believe she does all those voices and accents so fluidly. Definitely recommend!

Predictable and cute

Decent, cute storyline.
I really dislike the narrator’s attempt at different voices for different characters. It’s often difficult to understand what she’s saying and she makes them all sound like lunatics. It was painful to listen to this book and I will likely not listen to another book narrated by her. 😞
