This was another hit. There were only 2 chapters I didn’t like because they grossed me out. Yuck. But the rest was delightful as usual.

Once again…

As always I love the characters and the storylines. I especially love the narrator

Always enjoyable

Although some threads of character stories could be considered "settled" (Domenica and Angus) others have cracked wide open and wait for future books to resolve or be resolved - as an example, Bruce and his doppelganger. Bertie keeps evolving and Stuart is learning to stand up to the unchangingly annoying Irene. Cyril features in many chapters and Olive's tall tales reach the heights of Ridiculousness. Next book, please!

Clearly, we have not come to the end of our saga.

What did you love best about Sunshine on Scotland Street?

Being able to spend time again with the cast of characters. I would have liked a bit more of Pat, but this series just keeps one wanting more and more.

What did you like best about this story?

The adventures of Bertie and the manipulative ways of Irene, his mum. It was entertaining that the husband finally stood up a bit. Comical, yet so real.
I also always like the attention AMS pays to architecture and societal customs and changes.

Have you listened to any of Robert Ian Mackenzie’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, all in the series. He is talented.

Who was the most memorable character of Sunshine on Scotland Street and why?

This was answered above. In general, I cannot pin it down to one event. Not possible. The overall is the total of my enjoyment.

Any additional comments?

I only wish it was longer! I hope the next one will not take so very long to be available on Audible.
