A resident of Delhi, Udai is an engineer and holds a master’s degree in international business. Shruti is from Patna, and she holds a degree in international business and public relations. An artist at heart, she began her first creative expression when she started painting funky T-shirts for her brother to wear during his graduation years. Not only did she find herself being extremely fond of what she was doing, but she also came to realize that her brother and a lot of his friends seemed to love her designs.

As destiny had schemed, she crossed paths with Udai at his birthday party, where they were introduced by Udai’s best friend. What could have been any other normal encounter turned into a magical connection where art, love, and life transcended between the two souls, and thus began the story of Shruti and Udai. They came together from very different educational fields, and their love for each other and for art inspired them to create a start-up named Wearmates. It offers a wide range of creative wearable products with the right amount of style, spunk, and depth.
