Like it, but…

I hate when you read with a sense of dread because you know what is coming for the FMC. Mild spoilers ahead… You know from the end of the previous novel that her former frenemies and ex in laws are trying to frame her and working with the antagonist. This one is necessary, because I want to see Susan overcome her trauma, but the fact that you kind of know she is going to have to relive it made it really difficult for me to get through the middle of this novel. In fact, while I devoured the first two, I took a break partway through this one, and if my mother—who read the first two on my recommendation—hadn’t gotten through the third book and walked me through the plot points, I’m not sure I would have finished it. I guess it felt a little tropey… I’m in for the next one though.

I love this series

These books just fly by. They just go down so easy!! I would love to see these done as a tv series. The narration is great, the story is funny.

I really enjoyed this book but it left me feeling irritated and and frustrated. Now, I have to wait for the next one. 😠

Struggled to get through

I was really hoping Susan would grow a backbone in this book after being disappointed in the last but this one was even worse. She was having mental breakdowns almost the entire book and just appeared so weak and pathetic it was hard to listen to. The voice actor definitely gave it the emotion lol. I almost stopped but I want to know what happens so I’m starting the fourth book and I hope it ends better and she stops making others speak for her.
