Loved this hurt/comfort age gap romance!

Narration: Michael Ferraiuolo has done a stellar job narrating this book and the main series. I can’t believe how many unique voices he can do! And his narration of the spicy scenes? Perfection!

Story: It grabbed me from the first chapter and I read it in one sitting. I’m glad we get to see Grimbold find love! I wasn’t sure he’d get his own story, so this was a pleasant surprise. And Wally is such a sweetheart! I’m such a sucker for hurt/comfort with a protective lover and this hit all the buttons. My only complaint? It was so short! This book could have been double the pages and I would have loved every moment. Especially if we could have gotten more of Sassy Wally. But I’m glad we got their story and I’m looking forward to more in this world.

Wally and Grimbold were perfect!
This book will make you fall in love with the Drake patriarch. Grim takes Wally under his dragonny wing, and he flourishes beautifully under his care and love.
We also get to spend time with our favorite doctor and his scrumptious pork chop!
Absolutely loved it! I could read about this universe ALL DAY!

It’s Grandpa Grimmy’s turn

An omega who has been treated very unkindly who is fragile and scared meets a kind, sweet, protective, dragon. Wally had no idea such a thing existed. Grim is finally settled and he’s so sweet I think I got a cavity. Good addition to the series.

I love the age gap and how Grim, waits patiently for Wally never forcing him.

A wonderful age gap omegaverse

First of all don’t let the length of the story fool you. Though it a novella the story is well developed and the characters are well rounded. I love seeing this side of the head of the amethyst clan. His care and compassion for Swallow(Walter) moved me to tears. Walter is so broken by the abuse he suffered in his clan’s hands and I love how well suited they are. Totally enjoyed the immersive experience that is Michael’s narration. He just brought out all the feels. I will definitely recommend you listen to the previous books in the series because of the world building. The characters from previous books do have cameo in this one and I don’t know how he kept them straight in his head. Get it! Worth every penny.
