Really enjoyed this book!

Amazing writing , this is my first book by this author and will definitely be reading the sequel as well as her other books.. extremely well written. Performance by the readers was really well done

Recording error on chapter 24

I enjoyed this book and liked the cameos from Havoc and the nod to Pack Darling towards the end. It’s not as dark of a bullying scenario but I can’t wait for the next book for all the groveling. Drake is the best part of the book; he’s so sweet.

Performance: it’s a little difficult to tell the character voices apart for Love, Rook, and Ebony at times. I think Rook was also supposed to either have a British or Australian accent since he said the buddy version of “mate” a lot.

There was a recording error at the end of chapter 24. It got cut off and skipped to the next chapter.

Very slow burn

Hmmm… so I had to listen to the second book in order to make this review, because I was very confused about the storyline. It says it has dark romance, but everything is mostly insinuated and in actuality is only like a really light gray, not dark. The MC is used as a pawn, but you don’t know why. It’s like you’re reading a book in reverse… in a way. At the end of the book, you have a general idea of the characters, who is the bad guy, that Vex is being used like a puppet, but not why. So you have to listen to book 2 in order for her to book one to make any sense. There needs to be more intense scenes and story building interactions between the pack and Vex. All in all, ok. But don’t give up on book one. Nothing will really fit together until you read book two.

Loved the Omega Verse

Both narrators did an amazing job, bringing it to life each character. This first book had my emotions on a roller coaster from beginning to end. The heartache that the female lead goes through has my heart breaking. The cliffhanger on this book is amazing. Can’t wait for the second book.
