Book is good, but a little warning

The story, performance and characters are good. I do have an issue with this book, but I couldn't dock points for it: Make sure you listen to the sample before purchase. I love fantasy books, but I don't really like this style of them. I view it as such more gritty and authentic fantasy with speech being completely different than ours now. I'm personally not a fan, but if you're into that then you will love this book.

Fantasy adventure

Sword of the Fallen by G. J. Ogden is a wonderful dragon fantasy adventure. J. S. Arguin did a fantastic job with the narration, he brings the story to life in a fantastic way. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, heartfelt, funny, enjoyable, dramatic, action packed, and more. Sword of the Fallen is the first book in Hearts of Dragons series. Sir Caldwell maybe be the illegitimate son of the tyrant king but he is torn between duty and destiny. After the sword that holds the heart of the great mother of dragons is stolen. The Dagons are enraged after the mother of dragons is killed. Sir Caldwell defiled his father, to go find it and save the kingdom from monsters and dragons. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend

A must read! the world building will suck you in. Worth reading and/or listening to.

Well told story.

Liked the writing style. It was not as cookie cutter as some other books. The characters are likeable.

Enjoyable

A dragon fantasy with good character development and an enjoyable listen. Ably narrated by J.S Arquin (though I must confess to listening to it at 1.2x the speed, as I felt it to be a tad slow at default speed), Ogden’s Sword of fallen weaves a fantastical world of Dragans, royal bloodlines, complex characters, and high stakes. I enjoyed the book and will read the next book in the series.
