Sydney Devereux has it all: money, beauty, talent, and an established career in fashion design. Or so says her best friend Lynn, who desperately wants a child but hasn’t been able to carry one to term. What Sydney wants most however—to preserve her family heritage and homestead—seems to be out of her reach as her father insists on tearing up the land to build a mall on the property. That is unless Sydney can find evidence of Native American remains that will prove her grandfather’s stories of the land’s historical significance were true. But someone is bent on stopping her, and several possible attempts on her life is making things difficult. And the fact that the hunky contractor, Matt Addams, keeps showing up to rescue her, while at the same time stealing her heart, complicates matters even more. In the race to save her heritage, will Sydney lose much more than she bargained for?
