THE ARK

A Ukrainian rabbi, falsely charged and convicted of treason, has been incarcerated in an impregnable island prison in Russia where he is expected to die. The rabbi's plight has been brought to the attention of Israel's intelligence services because the rabbi claims to know where the Ark of the Covenant is located.

Israeli officials are determined to recover the Ark because of its historical and religious importance. But in order to recover the Ark, Mossad must first rescue the rabbi. As this rescue mission requires someone with the extraordinary skills to break into and out of a formidable prison facility surrounded by freezing water, Mossad has turned to a retired British jewel thief to lead its team of intrepid agents.

To rescue the rabbi and recover the Ark, the jewel thief and Mossad agents must overcome a series of unexpected setbacks, devastating disappointments and the ultimate betrayal that will test their resolve in their quest to accomplish the impossible.
