Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Your phone is a magician in your pocket: small, shiny, and always ready to steal a moment. The Smartphone Spell pulls back the curtain—how a camera, a touch screen, and a business model teamed up to turn a device into the remote control for modern life. Clear, witty, and firmly classroom-friendly, it traces the history, explains the mechanics (touch, apps, networks, notifications), and shows why those tiny pulses and badges feel impossible to ignore.

This book doesn’t panic; it teaches. You’ll learn what’s actually happening when apps tug at your attention, how notifications rewrite habits and social norms, and what concrete steps students, parents, and teachers can use to reclaim time and focus. Read it to understand the trick, spot the sleight-of-hand, and build simple rules that let you use your phone instead of letting it use you.

I've listened to a couple of audiobooks by the same author. I kept downloading JD Arden's book because the topics are interesting. This is the best of the lot. While I suggest you do further research on the topics in this book, I feel that after listening to The Smartphone Spell for three hours that it is time well spent.
