TOURISTS AND ZEALOTS

After almost dying when his patrol boat is struck by a missile, Don flees, but returns later with a team to rescue Captain Rico, who has been kidnapped by nomadic raiders on Eti'wah. Stacy retreats from a meeting with a deranged leader and his fanatical followers on Garden One, but returns with a park patrol fleet to deal with the zealots.

From rounding up illegal weapons smuggled onto the hot dry planet of Eti'wah, to removing squatters trying to homestead the ruins of Water Flower City on the protected planet of Garden One, Stacy Trace, Don Dorman and the rest of the crew of the Galactic Park Patrol ship Spruce are busy.

Don and Stacy also find time to look for lost children on a forest world; rescue stranded skiers and mountain climbers on ice worlds; rescue divers on an ocean world after they land their space yacht on a million year old reef and the vessel falls over and sinks into the sea; break up a party that gets out of control; and they even occasionally talk to happy tourists who haven't done anything stupid or wrong.
