London falls in a single night. What begins as scattered reports of violence becomes a citywide nightmare as the infection spreads faster than anyone can contain it.

Sergeant Daniel Kerr thought he had seen the worst when the streets turned into killing grounds. Now, with his partner dead and his ammunition running low, he has one promise left to keep. Somewhere across the city, Ellie Hales and her two children are trapped, waiting for help that may never come.
