WILLIAM LIPTON

In Lipton’s case, he knows that only those of significance will want to delve deeper than the opening paragraphs. He is also aware that, over his five decades as an author exploring prophecy and professional predictions, his interpretations have generally proved accurate.
One might say he took a page from Gertrude Stein, “I write for myself and strangers. The strangers, are an afterthought.” In his world, few people are truly strangers. Most prove to be friends you have yet to meet, or the self he had yet to discover.
In his 1970s book, “The Prophecy Notebook”, he correctly interpreted the 1999 Nostradamus prophecy to mean an airplane would destroy a New York City skyscraper – due to the calendar change made subsequent to the prophecy, and the use of the Hebrew calendar as his basis, he even corrected the date to as late 2001. In his book, “St. Paul’s Joke,” he referred the Malachi “Prophecy of the 112 Popes” and the destruction of Rome. When the Vatican studied a prepublication copy, in an effort to nullify the interpretation, Pope Benedict retired – creating a false Pope, Pope Francis, as numerically the 112th. Now the true 112th Pope, the first American to hold the office, Pope Leo XIV could see fulfillment – either by a natural earthquake, or one associated with the Third World War in 2034.
In this book, Lipton explores the events and diverges into religion and relevant prophecies that seem to be unfolding on schedule and in the proper pattern. Though the prophecies are now taking on a pattern more closely orientated to the type seen in the Strauss-Howe Generational Theory he introduced in book three.
Strauss-Howe places things into a context of four consecutive cycles they call “Turnings”. Since the Second World War, we have experienced for Generations, the initial one is always a HIGH, a period of prosperity and enjoyment; the final one is always a CRISIS, involving economic collapse and war. The years 2025 and 2026 are a grey area controlled by two “out of synch” means of calculating where we are, and the Democrats control which calculation will prevail.
For the record, the reader should know that, before his career took an academic turn, Lipton was an upper class New York City Jewish-Democrat who subsequently served as Democratic County Chairman.
Now he is watching the Democrats return to their Confederate roots, as they work hard to destroy themselves and the nation by pushing disproven economic theories or policies.
Lipton concludes this book with an exploration or the economics behind the 4D or 5D Chess game Trump is endeavoring to play.
Lipton recognizes his fellow Democrats are caught-up in Civil War Era concepts, while Trump is attempting to engage with three opponents. One is a domestic playing checkers with Chess pieces and a crude fascist mentality; the second is a nation of Chess Masters attempting to enter the modern era with an antiquated century-old mentality defining its goals; the third is knows the rules, but wants domination, and will sacrifice whatever pieces it takes.
