Shannan was not perfect but she did not deserve to be bashed the way she is in this book. The author seems to be more empathetic to Chris than his victims.

Victim blaming

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The writer makes a lot of assumptions. He ridicules a dead woman’s job. I stopped listening at Chapter 3.

Poor assumptions

Actually not assumptions. He basically told his own version and ignoring the facts. Did not like it

His as assumptions

Easy listen nice flow and very relaxing to do chores to. The author did a phenomenal job at breaking down thoughts that wouldn’t have occurred to me regarding this case.

Nice voice

I honestly thought I misheard what he was saying a few times. Stating that Nicole misspelled Shannan’s name in the Facebook post (that she posted when her friend went missing) and said that she spent more time making level videos than posting for her friend? Well, yeah, she was in a panic I’m sure! She wasn’t worried about spelling!

And then to go on and on about Shannan’s Facebook posts (and basically anyone’s Facebook posts) lead me to conclude that this writers is a pathetic, lonely person who is jealous of everyone on social media. So there’s that. I stopped listening. This was awful.

What’s with all the negativity and victim bashing?
