Tabitha returns to her hometown for what her family assumes is a short Easter weekend visit. What they don’t know is that she has no return date.

Her marriage has ended, her life feels fractured beyond repair, and with her young daughter in tow, Tabitha comes home carrying more than luggage. She is angry. Angry at her ex-husband. Angry at her mother, whose marriage she believes has been untouched by real pain. Angry at the church where she once found love and belonging. And most of all, angry at God. How could He allow everything she trusted to unravel?

As the weekend unfolds from Good Friday through Resurrection Sunday, old wounds surface and long-held assumptions are challenged. Family conversations grow tense. Faith is questioned. Silence gives way to truths no one expected to confront.

Through the sacred rhythm of Easter, Tabitha is forced to walk her own path of suffering, loss, and reckoning. What begins as a reluctant homecoming becomes a journey through a personal crucifixion, a symbolic death of what she thought her life would be, and the possibility of something new rising in its place.
