Heartbreaking and still full of life...

For a long time I rejected the idea of reading Anne Frank's diary. Then... I took a chance with this audiobook in German. Superb. What Anne Frank has accomplished in such early age of her life, and during such terrifying situation, is really amazing, it is a masterpiece. She is so eloquent, and her text is very powerful. Her diary brings you to that very same place where she spent so many days hidden from Hitler. Shocking, funny, full of love, smart, elegant... Very beautiful work from such a young lady. As you read through her diary, you can picture her smile... Touching work!

Must read book for all

Absolutely loved the book. I knew the story, but was amazed by her descriptive skill. You got a veey good indication of what her life must have been like. Everyone should read it. Young and old.

What made the experience of listening to Tagebuch the most enjoyable?

So incredibly touching. Just a normal girl, going through something awful. I read this as a child, but it was so much more powerful now that I'm grown up. If you haven't read it recently, give it a go.
