Stupid Time Travel

Good book, don’t get me wrong. But man, time travel stories are exhausting !! Came to this directly off finishing the Stormlight Archive, sooooooo….. maybe not the best timing. That being said, love Sanderson, enjoyed the book.

So fun!

Loved the little "snapshots" into different worlds. It's like watching Intergalactic Cable. Here's a short scene, change the channel. There's an adventure unfolding here. Change the channel. The post scripts are super interesting. I love hearing the thought process of accomplished writers. So fun.

What a fun ride!

I’ve been through most of those stories already, but revisiting them, going through the new story, and having it all together in one place was like a whole series of treats.

Enjoyable Ride off the Beaten Path

Sanderson tries a lot of things here, and while not everything is 100% awesome, you can see what he was trying to do and how it may translate into awesomeness later with other works

Extremely engaging, great postscripts & narration

Absolute must for any Sanderson fans, or people who enjoy short stories and want an audiobook to escape into. The post scripts after each story where Brandon Sanderson describes his writing process, inspiration, or alternate versions of each story are a highlight of this book. Would be a great gift for any aspiring writer, as well as for anyone who enjoys great world building or science fiction. Reminds me a little of how much I loved the LeVar Burton reads podcast, because you could experience great stories in their entirety with a smaller commitment than a full novel. Highly recommend, and I'm feeling bereft to have finished it already.
