what the heck!!!! what is going on with that ending? 😳 I can't believe it. omg 😲 😱 😲 😱 well I can't wait for the next book . I need to know what the heck is going on. omg I'm going to be piss if he did what he did to her. that is so wrong in so many ways. 😕 😞 😔. poor girl.

Female narrator ruined it

It was so painful to get through this because of the female narrator. Breathy and monotonous. I can't even listen to the other books and that stinks because in left with a cliff Hanger! Male narrator did great!

Another 5 Star Story Worth Waiting For

I adore the way CD Reiss weaves a story. Always brilliant, fascinating and compelling. Expertly performed by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton. I can't wait for Book 2.

Enticing

Dario is both bad and good. Is he a good man doing bad things or a bad man doing good things?

Sarah would say the latter. He is her abductor and husband. Not a marriage of consent and done at gunpoint. Marriage made in heaven? Surely not.

But the more they come to know and understand each other, Sarah learns he is not just her abductor and husband, he’s her lover and teacher. Dario finds himself intrigued, enchanted and admiring this woman he stole and married in a Colonia wedding.

Ulterior motives be damned. He’s keeping her! Freedom may just be her downfall, and his, as well.

But that ending. Not at all what I expected. Blindsided!

CD Reiss did it again!!!

This book…. This story… is excellent!! What just happened??? I was so caught up in this story that I didn’t realize it was so close to the end!! I’m glad book 2 is coming soon!! I need to know what happens!

CD Reiss is an always read author for me. Her books always reach into my emotions and hold on and never let go.

Sarah is such and innocent and knows nothing of the real world! Dario kidnaps her on her wedding day.. a wedding to unite families…. He takes her to ruin her … but can he? You need this book! I will be telling everyone I know who reads or listens to books to get this book!!
