Grant Manwhore. Adrenaline junkie. Lead singer of ContraBand. What you see is what you get. I make no apologies for my actions, and by now no one expects any from me. I live my life the way I want, and as long as it pushes the demons back, then I'm solid. I've never needed a chick for more than a good lay. Why would I need just one when I can have a different one every night? Until she walks into my world.

Aribel Mouthy. Perfectionist. Princeton student. Chemistry major. Yes, that pretty much describes me. Oh, and virgin. But I'm only 19 and have more important things to concern myself with. What really matters is finishing my degree and getting a good job. I've worked hard for what I want and do what's expected of me. I don't need anyone to get in my way. Until he opens up my world.

But if I give you my world, whatever you do...don't take me for granted.

Find out what happens with Grant and Aribel in part one of the Take Me duet!

I listened to the audio version of this book and always enjoy the fact that emotions and intonation add so much more to the story.

This was a classic bad boy tamed by the good girl tale. I love it when a guy with 'whorish' ways is brought to his knees by a girl.

Aribela was definitely not interested in getting to know Grant in any way, shape or form but there was just something about her that he could not resist and eventually his persistence pursuing her pays off.

Grant is everything that her parents warned her about when it comes to men, he does not move in the sort of circles that her family does and his music career is not one she expected her future life partner to have. Being with him comes with huge risks and having her heart broken is at the top of the list. Then there are the trust issues with groupies.

These two really do have to battle their way through all of these issues and learnt to trust and have faith in their love for each other.

This does not end on a cliff hanger but there is more to their story in a second book.

I didn’t think I like this story since the hero started out as a man whore. As the story unfold, I found myself grinning. Some scenes were immature but it didn’t stop me from listening. All in all, it was a good escape. Highly recommend!

Hardly able to listen as actors were not convincing.probably as good as the written text so I may be blaming wrong person. Hard to get thru.

Wrong voice actors

I tried, I really did. I don’t know if it were the narrators or the story but I started from beginning 3 times. I even got further each time but at chapter 20 I decided to stop. It seemed like high school drama and not young adults

Couldn’t get through it
